Recycling old shirts easily tops my list of favorite crafts. With Spring Break nearing, everyone has been at the gym working on their bods. I myself have been going to the gym a lot more lately, though I imagine I wont need to worry about my bikini body in China’s climate, ha! Either way my tank tops have been depleting a lot faster than usual so I figured this would be the perfect time to recycle an old tee! Helllloooo new favorite work out top!

Cost: FREE
Materials:
- Old T-Shirt
- Sharpie/pen
Tools:
- Scissors
Using your pen or sharpie draw a basic outline of how you want your tank to look.

Cut out the outline (be sure to not cut out the back of the neck).

Sketch a triangle shape on the back of the tee. Cut out triangle.

Cut off the edge of the collar to form a long stretchy strip of fabric.
*from left to right: scrap remaining collar fabric, edge of collar strip, tank top
Wrap and tie the strip of fabric into a knot to secure around the point of the triangle.

Continue to wrap the fabric down the back to create racerback. Knot and tuck the end of the strip to hide the loose end.

Super easy…. and now you can enjoy your new racerback tank!

This is such a cute idea! Love it! -E
